Downtown Road Closures Announced for 2022 Fleet Feet Liberty Mile
PITTSBURGH - P3R announced street closures related to the 2022 Fleet Feet Liberty Mile, scheduled for Friday, July 22. The one-mile evening road race showcases a variety of fitness levels, from first-time runners to Olympians, and is consistently named “one of America’s most iconic races” by Runners World.
Downtown closures for the race will start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22. The race begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. Parking lots will not have access onto Liberty Avenue or Penn Avenue between Stanwix St. and 11th Street. Parking on Liberty Avenue or Penn Avenue will not be available after 4:00 p.m. Roads are expected to reopen by 9:00 p.m. To view a course map, click here.
