We worked closely with a group of diverse runners to ensure this division addresses the needs of each and every member of the running community while respecting everyone's right to feel safe, welcome, and seen at our events.
Runners who elect to compete in the Non-Binary Division will be eligible for placement awards for first through third place.
Runners who elect to compete in the Non-Binary Division are ineligible for age group awards and other gender-specific awards (including Masters Division).
Rules:
- Cash awards are based on gun time, not chip time.
- Runners can only win awards and/or cash prizes in the heat/division for which they are officially registered.
- America's Mile has a zero-tolerance drug policy. Athletes who participate in America's Mile events may be subject to drug testing conducted by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) or other licensed entities. Athletes with positive drug test results will forfeit any prize money and will be disqualified from the event in which such athlete participated.
